Transport Canada “Proposed Rules for Drones in Canada”

Posted by Greg Davis on

Transport Canada Proposed Drone Rules in Canada taken from the Transport Canada Website.

BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Site) is being studied by Transport Canada in conjunction with the Private sector and Unmanned Systems Canada, a great organization, by the way, to move the UAS industry forward from the current VLOS (Visual Line of Sight) regulatory regulations.

That is where your jobs will come from in 2019. Companies that require a BVLOS environment are Pipeline, Energy Systems, Mining etc., who currently do not participate in any great extent in a VLOS environment.

Students and Companies will benefit from BVLOS. Stay Tuned! Anyone looking for drone training in Canada can contact the Canadian Drone Institute to find out more.
